A poem book, designed for the works of Robert Frost

A project born out of a passion for poetry, this book is a tribute to the works and life of Robert Frost. Those who read poetry often and are involved in the world of art and literature must have stumbled upon the works of a man by the name of Robert Lee Frost. Frost's works are renowned for their simplistic style and deep meaning. He is considered one of the greatest poets to have walked the face of Earth.

The same Earth and nature was the inspiration behind most of his work, his love for the natural beauty of places and things is what set him apart from the rest. That is what I have tried to capture in this book.

The book, made in a form of an illustrated art journal, tries to capture the essence of the work of Robert Frost - his love for nature, his learnings from life and everything beyond. The simplicity in little things is brought to life in every individual page with elements that represent the same.

The character art which is simple scribble sketch style illustrations is derived from the looks of our beloved author himself. The empty space in the face of the character is filled by the emotions of the reader and the expressions they feel from the poetry itself.

The handwritten typefaces combined with the versatile and vibrant color palette tries to knit together the perfect journal filled with poems in a cozy and comforting setting. Enjoy with a coffee in a cold rainy night or on a train with the gusty winter wind.
